christmas i'm answering e-mails in tonight's post and tomorrow's and thursday's unless something major comes up news wise. a reader who just started reading last september e-mailed because she planned to get her little sister and her mother some nice gifts via her after school job. however, it's not paying what she thought it would due to the fact that she's not getting as many hours as she hoped. she's in a panic and wanted advice. so here it is. if you can afford to get something for your kid sister, do so. if you can get her something she can use or will like, go for it. your mom? your mom's in the same situation you are. she's going to understand. you might even want to tell her and see if the 2 of you can pitch in together for a gift for your sister? but your mom's going to understand (whether you explain it to her before christmas or not). you will hopefully have other christmases and other jobs and be able...
